Vishal joined TD Bank Group in September 2019 as the Head of Global AML Strategies, Solutions & Transformation, reporting to Mike Bowman, Global Chief AML Officer. In this role, Vishal is responsible to define and deliver the technology, analytics and data capability needs and roadmap to support the Global AML business.
Vishal's mandate includes business ownership of Global AML's core enterprise technology solutions for AML customer risk rating, customer name screening and transaction monitoring, including ongoing optimization of the rules and methodologies supporting these critical AML risk controls. Vishal is also building out a business architecture and change management discipline to support GAML's emerging technology and innovation opportunities and drive increased effectiveness and efficiency across the Bank's AML operational controls.
Vishal has more than 20 years of progressive experience in financial services risk management and financial crimes compliance, supporting the deployment and optimization of AML-related technology solutions, and leading large-scale business process and technology transformations.
