Sibongile Ngako is a corporate fintech and compliance executive with over 20 years of financial services experience specializing in compliance and risk management. She is currently Vice President of Consumer Compliance and the Head of Global Compliance for Affirm Inc., a leading financial technology company. Prior to Affirm, Sibongile spent 10 years at American Express in various risk and compliance roles culminating in her appointment as Vice President, Operational Excellence for Amex's consumer business.
Sibongile began her career at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and spent several years at Fannie Mae developing reporting and analytics for the Chief Credit Officer. She holds a BA from Harvard University and a Master of Music from Binghamton University. Sibongile has a long-sustaining passion for the performing arts, DEI and female empowerment.
