Russell E. Perry co-founded kompany in 2012 and is responsible for the strategic direction of the RegTech firm, including leveraging opportunities to bring its innovative new technology to more organisations around the world. Russell was born in New York City but spent half of his youth in the Austrian province of Tirol before relocating permanently to Vienna in 2012.

His professional experience extends across several industries, including telecommunications, online gaming and regulatory technology. Among others, he successfully grew the world’s largest people-search engine (123People) to a profitable business and oversaw its eventual sale. Nowadays Russell is busy driving the direction of kompany and fulfilling the mission of the organisation to transform the work of compliance professionals from a defensive discipline into a competitive advantage.
