Eric Goldberg is a Partner in the Consumer Financial Services Practice Group at Akerman LLP in Washington, D.C. Previously, Eric was Managing Counsel for Regulations at the CFPB where he led payments regulatory work including leading remittance transfer, prepaid account, and the arbitration agreement rulemaking teams. At Akerman, Eric evaluates regulatory issues that arise regarding payment accounts and emerging payments services. He also advises on credit and fintech products including virtual currency and consumer data aggregation.
