Richard Johnston is the Chief Legal Counsel at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office. He provides legal and strategic advice to Attorney General Maura Healey and others in the office, as well as overseeing the Health Care & Fair Competition Bureau, the Energy & Environment Bureau, two divisions in the Government Bureau, and the Office of General Counsel. Rich has been with the AGO since February 2015 after thirty years as a litigation partner at WilmerHale, where he specialized in domestic and international litigation and arbitration, much of it in healthcare and life sciences.
